Skyloft, a restaurant developed under NoHO Hospitality Group, is an upscale dining destination located on the 33rd floor of 50 Hudson Yards, offering a unique experience that blends culinary excellence with breathtaking views of midtown Manhattan.
AvroKO approached us to create a biophilic design that would introduce a living, breathing layer to their design. Our aim was to create a lush, undulating landscape that balances the beauty of nature with the practical demands of a restaurant. We carefully selected a mix of tropical plants and trees, incorporating greenery that thrives in indoor environments. Large specimen ficuses form an umbrella over diners in the central dining space, creating pockets of intimacy and warmth, while cascading vines and lush underplantings soften the architectural lines.
