Sculpture Garden
Exploring a new perspective on landscape design, we set out to create a garden with the priority of material, versus plants. A second constraint of water unavailability liberated possibilities for low-maintenance planting concepts, with rainwater-based and passive-water systems. The vision of a palette of sedum plants, which minimize the need for irrigation, behaves in tandem with metals whose patina across the seasons is a performance unto itself.
